MNNR 316
Title:  MNNR 316
Description:  One of my favorite shots of the chase, just because of the deep feeling and texture that this shot represents. The deep sky color with a few stray clouds, and the wide angle encompasses the feeling of the interesection. Maybe a bit too artsy, I dunno.

MNNR 316
Title:  MNNR 316
Description:  Trackage that would fool you into thinking it was exempt is greeted by the 316, bellowing smoke and flying the Red, White, and Blue! A CSX step sticker also adds a nice touch (where did they find that?).

Classic meets Classic
Title:  Classic meets Classic
Description:  Meeting a nice set of classic grade crossing signals, 316 heads further West down the Hennepin.

End of the line
Title:  End of the line
Description:  The RS27 heads into the industry to deliver one, and pickup three. There is only room for one engine and one car on this "lead", so it will have to be one at a time.

Industrial railroading
Title:  Industrial railroading
Description:  I guess nothing is straight in this shot? I lined up with the building on the left, which would mean that nearly everything in this shot is leaning to the left....

1992?
Title:  1992?
Description:  Well, if it weren't for that CSX step sticker(which most of the time I love) you'd never be able to tell this was 2009, or even MNNR for that matter. Notice the powerline shadows in the smoke.

Timewarp
Title:  Timewarp
Description:  What a refreshing (if you don't get caught in that smoke!) thing to document, as if time stood still for a good ten years. With the whole world changing drastically, its nice to be able to shoot a scene like this, although the ozone probably isn't extremely thrilled about this. Flags, Classic engineer pose, no ditchlights, and a nice mix of light effects (classlights, gumball), plus the ALCo patented smoke.
