Description:  Oil Power. Here is an original 35mm color slide that was processed in March of 1961. Shown here are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5886 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5886 was constructed in April of 1950. Note the U.S. Mail pick-up device at the right. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.

Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #5886 and another unit whose number is not recorded. Both were built by EMD. #5886 is an EP-22 built in 1950 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. They are stopped at the Altoona Station with a New York City-bound passenger train, after having come down the Allegheny Mountains via the Horseshoe Curve from Pittsburgh.
