Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken in Boyd, Indiana, c. 1969. The photographer is not identified. Photo Caption: "EMD SD35 #6004, 2500-hp, at Boyd, Ind." Shown here (L to R) is Penn Central Railroad engine #6004 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #6004 is an SD35 constructed as PRR number "6004" in February of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Diesels On The Pennsylvania" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (819-57).
