Here is page four of a ten-page article by Rae Ediger entitled "Long Island Rail Road." It was published originally in the March 1949 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 43. Top Photo Caption: "On a wintry day in Floral Park, a LIRR H10s 2-8-0, No. 112, shuffles by on a caboose hop." Shown here is LIRR engine #112, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidation" built by the American Locomotive Company as Pennsylvania Railroad number "7249" during April of 1916, renumbered "8246" in 1917, then sold to the LIRR in May of 1929 and renumbered "112."
