Originally built by Baldwin in November of 1912 as GTW #111 (serial #38644, class J-3-a), it moved onto the CN roster as #5041 in January of 1941. The loco was scrapped in November of 1957. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo. Bruce Gemmel found info on this pic. It was taken by Jim Shaughnessy at Burlington, Ontario, August 2, 1957. Heading up a passenger train , this Baldwin 4-6-2 Pacific leaves a trail of smoke in its aftermath. The loco was delivered in November of 1912 as Grand Trunk Western #111 (serial #38644, class J-3-a). It eventually landed on the CN roster as 5041 in January of 1941. The loco was scrapped in November of 1957. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo. Bruce Gemmel was able to find info on this photo.
