PC 1904, F7A, 1968
Title:  PC 1904, F7A, 1968
Description:  Lorenz. Here is a photo via Bob Lorenz that was taken in Marysville, Pennsylvania, in 1968. Shown here (R to L) are Penn Central engines #1904 and #2513. #1904 is an F7A built by GM-EMD for the Pennsylvania Railroad as number "9660" in March of 1950, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and renumbered "1904" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. #2513 is a U25B constructed for the New York Central Railroad as number "2513" in May of 1964 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. In this context, they're pulling a manifest freight out of Conway to the Enola Yards. Just beyond those houses is the left-to-right flowing Susquehanna River. (Gift from Brad Mann.)
