John Kirkwoods business car YERBA BUENA, built by Pullman-Standard in 1942 in Lot #6668 to Plan #4069H as C&NW 4 double bedroom-4 compartment-2 drawing room (4DB-4C-2DR) sleeper IMPERIAL DRIVE for the UP-SP-C&NW OVERLAND pool, withheld from Pullman lease in 1965 and sold in 1970 to William W. Kratvilles Autoliner Corporation in Omaha, rebuilt as business car #100 HAPPY HOLLOW, later resold to Great Western Tours, then resold to John Kirkwood/Rail Ventures as RVIX #800344 YERBA BUENA. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a Kodachrome 35mm slide. Date is approximate. Photographer is unknown. |
