| As I watched the slow procession over this wooden trestle, its age started to show. Some of the bridge piers have settled. As the wheel sets cross over the bridge, the deck beams under the rails sag about 1 1/2" in 3 places. The resulting noise from the 5 mph train sounds like a chorus of bullfrogs . |
