Tom Beckett	General	Home page again 02-03-2022. I can feel the growing heat and humidity of a Chicago summer day as I look at this shot. I can almost smell the creosote from the ties, and the other oily aromas that surround modern railroading. I see the SW in the distance, quietly rumblind closer as it does its work, the office bound riders on the train oblivious to its impending presence.
