DL+W Liberty St. Freight House         
Destroyed in early 60s fire.As a LCL distribution point for northern NJ it was a busy place through the EL merger.In 1960 it was switched 3 times a day .The 1rst. Boonton Drill, out of Hoboken around noon,worked all customers between the Delawanna and Paterson cross overs on 2 laps and a 3rd.(out of Pt.Morris yd.?) would be there to add cars to the westbound through freight that stopped here after midnight. T.Taber's DL+W in the 20th. Century has a 1925 photo on page 102 of the site when new.At the time of pic the foundation was being used as a team track dock to unload newsprint.
