TOM HABAK General Good shot Rich. The flared radiators on this leader indicate that it was once an SD45, befor being rebuilt into an SD40-2. The SD45 had a 20 cylinder motor, which proved to be very problematic. As a result, very few true SD45's exist today, but the hood still left intact on the rebuilt ones still provides a little bit of variety for us photographers. 8/19/2006 10:40:47 AM
