I'm standing on the eastbound LE&P mainline track looking north at the C&P mainline, now the NS Cleveland Line. Up until sometime in the 1990s, this view would've shown a large trestle spanning the C&P. This trestle was the westbound LE&P main on it's "flyover". To the left and down the length of the LE&P, the two mainline tracks leveled out in time for the crossing of the Cuyahoga River. The aforementioned large trestle was removed in the 1990s as a part of Conrail's doublestack clearance project. This is in Brady Lake, Ohio. |
