Yard Power. Here is an original photo that I took of two Pennsylvania Railroad yard locomotives at Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, during July of 1960. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #9329 and #9312. Both are GS-4M switchers built by GE and rated at 380 horsepower each. #9329 was built in 1948, but #9312 was built in 1949. This photo was taken near the Yard Master's Office, at the very eastern end of South Juniata Street. |
