Everyday. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pittsburgh & West Virginia Railroad locomotive in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, in July of 1960. Shown here is P&WV engine #40, an AS616 built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in May of 1951 and rated at 1,600 horsepower; it was being leased by the PRR. The crew is moving some "junk" from Sender's into the Westbound Classification Yard over the Juniata River Railroad Bridge. This photo taken just East of the Bedford Street Crossing. |
