| Train 553 has left East Binghamton, and is now approaching BD, where he will cross the Tier and head north. CP Alcos were common on these trains, often six axles, though they seemed to elude me. The D&H unit is not usually a part of this effort. They must have had a bigger train than usual, or combined it with 270, which sometimes happened. Its also possible the D&H unit was being moved to Saratoga or Mohawk. |
