| #10. This dining car was built in 1957-58 for the Northcoast Limited, as Northern Pacific 49.Sat 48 originally, later reduced to 40. Damaged in a wreck, the car was not sold to Amtrak. Burlington Northern repaired it and named it the Lake Superior. The car suffered a fire on May 26, 2015, and was temporarily removed from the roster, but it was repaired after a couple months. |
