| And......that's a wrap, folks. Few people realize how much work it is to lay rail. A small rolling gantry crane makes all the difference in the world, sliding each 1700 lbs of stick rail into place without major effort. Track 2 is complete, Track 3 alongside the building is a year or two off. NYS&W 142 (to the right) is coming along nicely with her 15 year inspection/overhaul, and the crates to the immediate right contain new tubing to be installed over the coming months. |
