| Looking northeast over the south end of the CN, former SOO, yard at Neenah, WI, on 15 May '20. One reason for this photograph is the four yellow John Deere tracked vehicles staged at this end of the yard. They, and others, will soon be loaded onto flatcars for Michels Materials. It is an interesting process to watch, if you happen to be at the right place at the right time. The tracks at the far right are remnants of the former C&NW main line and yard. The tan 4- or 5-story facility at the center of the horizon is currently home to 5K Fibres, 1111 Henry St., based in Greenville, WI. They purchased the former Kimberly-Clark Corp. (K-C) Neenah Nonwovens Facility ca. Apr. '20. |
