Chicago Surface Lines (CSL) 144 Street Car Interior at Illinois Railway Museum
Chicago Surface Lines 144 street car interior at the Illinois Railway Museum. On a personal note, The man in the yellow shirt standing in the aisle is Elmer W. "Stech" Stecher who spent the first five years of his life living with his parents in small quarters at the end of the C&NW Signal Instruction Car as his father was in charge of systemwide signal training. The man standing at the front facing away in the plaid shirt is my father, Charles A. The 6 year old boy at the left is my son, James J.
