Union Pacific 4006 4-8-8-4 "Big Boy" at the National Museum of Transportation in St Louis, MO. Often called the "largest" steam locomotive ever made. It was the longest, but Yellowstones were heavier and at least four other articulateds had higher tractive effort. |
