Portraits 2. Here is a diesel locomotive portrait by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Chicago, Illinois, on 9 February 1967. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #6529 and #6500. Both were built by General Electric. #6529 is a GF-28A constructed in September of 1966 and rated at 2,800 horsepower, while #6500 is a GF-25A built in April of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower.
