With the hoopla about the CSX OCS running over the Indy Line today, I decided, despite the F40PHs trailing, it was worth it to run down to Union City to grab some final shots of the tower before its relocation. The OCS was slated to be into Anderson shortly before noon, which allowed some other traffic to try to fit in to the window before it arrived. I had just missed CSX Q364 heading east as I arrived in to town, but almost immediately the trilight heads went yellow and soon I was greeted by an eastbound N312 empty coal train crossing the border into Ohio from Indiana, passing by the tower and through the trilights. Westbound CSX Q131 had been cleared on up Track 2 to head west toward Indianapolis. |
