Originally built by EMD as Nickel Plate Road #514 in March of 1958, this GP9 eventually found its way to Steamtown USA in Scranton, PA, painted as a Delaware, Lackawanna & Western loco for use on the tourist trains. While at Steamtown, the loco was repainted at one time as NKP 514. An unknown photographer caught it heading up one of the Steamtown tourist trains on this day in May. |
