Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4943 and #4939 are E-2B electrics built by General Electric and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #4943 was constructed in October of 1951, while #4939 was built in May of 1951; both were retired in June of 1965 after just 15 years of revenue service. |
