| Union Pacific C44-9W 9771 was inbound on the BNSF-Wabtec interchange just north of the builder’s Fort Worth plant, on its way to being remanufactured into an AC44C6M. The 30-year-old locomotive had been built as Chicago & North Western 8667 in 1994 and was one of only four C&NW units which had not yet received the UP paint scheme at this time. |
