Description:
A thirsty Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 4-6-0 Class K-10 957, date, location, and photographer unknown, print by Tom Klinger, Chuck Zeiler collection. The date and location chosen based on the June 1, 1935 CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet. Number 957 was built in 1900 by the CB&Q's West Burlington, Iowa Shops as a 2-6-0, class H-4 numbered 1566, renumbered in 1904 to 1250. In February 1909 it was rebuilt at the Aurora Shops to class K-10 957, sold for scrap in May 1954.
