Description:

Photo Caption: "Alco C-630 #6329, 3000-hp, at Syracuse, N.Y." Shown here is Penn Central Railroad engine #6329, a C630 built by the American Locomotive Company as PRR number "6329" in December of 1966, rated at 3,000 horsepower, and retained the number "6329" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger; it was also the last of the PRR's super-ALCo's.
