| Originally built for the predecessor Duluth, Missabe & Northern Rwy by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1916, it had 60" drivers and generated 188.5 psi for its 28"x32" cylinders. Engine weight was 342,000 lb and it could produce a tractive effort of 66,995 lb. In 1933, it was had an Elesco feedwater heater added. It was retired 1962 but survives today as a display at the Museum of Transportation in St Louis, MO. No photographer listed and the date is an approximation. |
